Makes me feel alive with the top down! Mine is Zinc Yellow with a black top and charcoal leather interior. Turns heads, including mine. Plenty of power even with the automatic. Mach 460 stereo has good mids, highs and plenty of bass response. Decent fuel economy (better than my wifes 2001 Cougar V6) and solid ride and handling. The traction control, ABS and excellent driver and passenger crash test ratings make this car much safer than many convertible rivals. And it has a glass rear window! How a modern auto manufacturer can still sell a ragtop with a plastic backlight is beyond me. Are you listening BMW??

Interior is rather plasticy.
What trunk space? It can carry a couple of golf clubs or grocery bags. But they did provide a cargo net...so your groceries wouldn't roll around too much in such a massive space! LOL

I've wanted a Mustang convertible since I was 8 years old. What can you say about a car that speaks directly to your soul? When they rolled my yellow beauty out I was absolutely transfixed. Why work as hard as we do to get by in this world if we don't treat ourselves once in our life to a little slice of our childhood dreams. I think I'll go outside, drop the top and enjoy this beautiful Georgia spring weather!!!

Beautiful car! I love it. Sounds good on the start up and better once it gets going. My fav thing is the door. When the window is down it's great slamming that huge door home. Love the look of the body, it is so much of an improvment from 97. The inside is nice, the leather looks even nicer. I have leather everything, ABS, 16 inch wheels, the whole Premium package including the 460 MACH sound system which rocks. Housed in its own box it has 8 speakers, 4 woofers, 4 tweeters and they al put out. If you're thinking about sound, don't bother doing it your self later, same some time and money and get this system, it's a must have and make the ride SO much better. The safety ratings are good and the car feels good on the road. Easy folding backseats. The smoothest ride i've ever had! Oh Yeah, THE GIRLS LOVE IT!!!

None, just things that you don't need anyways. Small trunk. (but not bad, you can fit two bodies in it, {my buds crawled in} and even has a trunk release inside just incase). Small backseat (but you'll never be sitting there anyways so who gives a care, you're not buying a family car so why carry one). The air vents are the only complaint, they aren't placed right, especially the drivers left vents itting on your knee. But foget air conditioning and put the windows down. It's twice as fun that way.

If you're leaning toward this car, go for it. Worth every penny. Insurance costs aren't to bad. GET EVERY OPTION YOU CAN, THEY JUST MAKE THE DRIVE BETTER. The first option i'd get is the stereo, very nice. The original is still the best. The Camaro is ugly and the inside is cheap and cramped, the Mustang's front seat has all the room in the world. Firebirds don't have a rep and can't pull off the pony car look. Go with the MUSTANG!o

Great power, great looks and alot of sports car for the money. Surprisingly good ergonomics for a domestic car. Mach 460 sound system is also surprisingly good for a factory unit.

Could use a few more ponies to keep up with the Camaro but that will be taken care of with a Kenne Bell supercharger. Front seats are WAY uncomfortable. Camaro, Z3 and Boxster seats were much better!! Kid racer looks with the non functioning hood and side scoops.

Have only had it for 3 months, but so far so good. Convertible had some wind noise at the drivers side that Koons Ford fixed promptly right after I purchased it. I plan on extensively modifying it with a supercharger. I've already put Steeda springs, Steeda strut tower brace, Steeda 5 link suspension, Tokico shocks and struts, aluminum upper and lower controls arms, Ford Racing 3:73 rear end and a full MAC cat back exhaust system on it. BTW, you don't need to purchase sub frame connectors if you bought the convertible GT, Ford has already installed them for you. That's also the great part about this car if you like to tn=inker there is a abundance of aftermarket parts to allow you to boost your Mustang's performance.

Never enough horsepower. I probably won't be happy even when I mod it up to 500 rwhp though, so its just me... Insurance is too much in So. Cal. Stock tires like to catch onto any groove in the road--dangerous! Keep your hands on the wheel! Not for cell-phone drivers.

The Mach460 sound system is indeed one of the best factory systems, but still not up to par with decent aftermarket systems.

Stock exhaust is not loud enough. Replace quickly!

As someone else also said, I did a ton of research before buying this car. I really liked the Eclipse GT, but having "inside info" on their TSB's I will stay clear away from any Galant based vehicle. Also looked into the new Celica GT, but didn't like stepping on the gas pedal and not going anywhere. My little Sunfire was quicker feeling than the Celica. Plus it was more expensive than the Mustang. For the money, I just couldn't find a car that could compete. I like to drive fast, but comfortable.... but I couldn't afford a Corvette. I have also always hated Fords, but this one caught my eye. It has love it or hate it styling. I obviously loved it.

I'm also a tinkerer/wrenchhead on a quest for more horsepower. This car has a huge aftermarket following so its not too difficult to go as fast as you want.

I don't advocate street racing but its funny to blow away ricers in your stock Mustang, knowing they put soo much effort in their little plasticy go carts.

This car is also comfortable with the leather seats and fully adjustable drivers seat. Although if you are 6'+ you might find this car extremely cramped. I am not much bigger than a midget so I find it has plenty of room for me.

Also, research price before you go to buy (as with any car) dealers will try and sock it to you with no lube! >:-P

i've only had this car a week.its electric green with a black top. the looks and yells and notes are a little unnerving. i bought it go to the golf course on weekends. thats where i got the first note. i showed it to my wife (it kind of looked like her writing)she didn't write it. woops. it could have been a sixteen year old caddy.you can fit two sets of clubs in the trunk. the miata only holds one bag and you have to remove the woods and lay them across diagonally. the back seat looks small. i had to give all of my daughters friends rides and they fit o.k.

The 460 Mach Sound System sounds good. Its horsepower is great, but there is always room for more. The body style is very appealing and it is a fun car to cruise around in, especially when those Acura Integ. are flicking their lights in your rearview.

It would be nice if the exhaust was a tad louder. I think the car would look better also if the side and hood vents were actually real. The worst part of the whole deal is the stock tires. I DO NOT recommend Goodyear Eagle ZR45's, they're not worth it!

Overall, I really love this car, the look, power and all.

this car originaly came with a wimpy v8, couldnt help but rip it out and put a hemy 454 in it, this car will tear any other, mustang, vette, or comaro a new a** hole, we also put a awsome nos system in it for extra power, as well as a 5 point safty belt system, hard bucket seats, and a complete holly transmission, when this car moves, it screams! the car is agile, fast (tops out at 297-300mph, and well bottom line.....FUC*ING AWSOME. ive illegaly raced this car many times and never lost, (including a 98 transam with a v8) wich is a awsome car to...wich i now own...(wanna put up your pink slip?) lol

with that 454 if the brakes go be prepared, it hapend once and i had to drive it thru a field, sucks gas, and if youve never been in a real muscle car youll wet yourself, also VERY easy to get tickets,,,,,also easy to out run cops though...hehe...

Price. 60-0 brake distance, too long.

Great Look, Fun to drive, the price is way to high. But it can run the 0-60 in just under 4.8 seconds, its a way better deal than a corvette or Viper, and almost as fast. Its even faster than the Corvette Z06. If you like mustangs, and you got the $$$ than get a roush. or even a Stage 1 if you cant afford the super charger.
