It's LOOKS! This is the 2nd one I've had. Sold my '90 to get a newer one ('94 2+2). If they put a prancing horse and a FERRARI logo on it, they could've sold it for 3X the price. It's the only car I'll ever have that looks as good or better than a Ferrari.... and it's a whole lot cheaper and easier to maintain!

THEY STOPPED MAKING THEM! The new one, due out in 2003, doesn't hold a candle to the 90+ models.

It's the coolest looking, affordable, true sports car there is!

My car is a Red 1990 Twin Turbo 5 speed 2 seater hardtop. I chose this configeration because i think the shorter body of the 2 seater looks more
Aggressive and me being 6ft 2 would make the already tiny rear seats of the 2+2 useless.
Why a hard top i hear you ask,Of all the cars I test drove the hard top Felt the tightest when driven hard. But be prepared for a long wait 2 seater hardtop 5 speed twin turbo's are very rare .A friends been looking for one for a year!

The 90+ 300zx is a real neck snapper, weather your driving it or watching it streak past and all this for around 30k (Aus).It realy is a supercar anyone can own !!!!!!! Just wait till you drive it .

This car definately has nice lines. Even though the design is over 10 years old, it still turns heads. Girls just love this car, especial since mine is bright red. It does go fast (n/a) and handles well enough. Shifting isn't too bad. But what is really surprising is how much space there is inside the car.

The glove box is a joke (airbag is in the way). Like the other people have said, the breaks are a little scary when you really have to stop. I think getting the skyline upgrade from stillen is worth it if you plan to keep the car for a while. Rear vision makes it dicey when changing lanes and backing up. Headlights are also weak on this car. I've upgraded tehm to the PIAA Super White lights I got in japan. They are brighter, but the car still out runs them on the freeway. I put on Dunlop tires and notice the car started to wiggle on the freeway channel on the road. I'm not sure why this brand of tire did this. I changed to Pirellis and it didn't do this.

300zx is really a performance value. When compared to other cars, it offers better interior space, great timeless styling and affordable up keep (compared to other performance cars).

It really is a shame Nissan doesn't make this car any more. With the limited numbers now available, it also looks like performance and exterior upgrades are becoming fewer. Hondas rule the upgrade category.

If you get this car, you won't be dissapointed. Take the t-tops off and enjoy a ride along the coast!!

Sell, you car, put your house on mortgage if u have to, u must get this car, they're becoming a classic. Perfect blend of all the things that a car should be.

By-FAR the most dependable car that I have ever owned.
Nine New England Winters, and still kickin'. Never had a AAA account (although I must admit I am thinking about it) The best part...after 175K miles....and you are in the corner, NO BODY ROLL. If you know what that means, then you understand...otherwise, forget about it...you'll never get it.

Space- I have the 2-seater and it is very inconvenient at times. Also, no trunk space but then again...these really aren't complaint's...

This is by far the best mix of sport/dependability that the market could ever hope to offer...

I bought my first with 97K miles on it....my current has 178K...and still kickin'

Once the kid grows up, he buys the "Z"......

I have owned 7 cars, although, 2 were ZX's. These cars have ZERO body roll in a corner. Amazing, but true! I have seen roll in Ford T-Bird Turbo's...Dodge Z's (whatever the hell they call them...) and even those damn P-boxsters.....which I expected a whole lot more out of...the Z just makes it's way around without much 'ado'

I love everything! Great acceleration, it will burn almost all the cars out there. Even though it's an '84. All these hicks in there Pontiac Trans Am's are jealous when they see my taillights!

This car is FAST. I have yet to lose a race! Porsche, Mustang 5.0, or whatever! The HICAS steering is pretty nice too. Also the climate controls
really add to the class of such a car!

MAINTENANCE!!!

Well the end is never near as far as performance is concerned. Money dictates how many horses you can get under the hood. I am currently upgrading mine to 500+hp! Oh yeah, buy one while you can!

I recommend getting a NON TURBO, just for the fact, that the turbo hurts the engine in the long run, and you will end up spending $5k a turbo to replace, talked to many TT owners, and offered a trade for my NA, many upgrades are available, i used to hate all the asian cars, but once i drove this Z, it was love at first drive. I love blowing away all the rice rockets, and camaro's and mustang GT's, perfect car to show off when a guy thinks his car is faster than yours. Buy this car and you WILL NOT regret it. But if you are like me and cant control your speed, dont buy it.
