I bragged on my Trailblazer up until recently. The dealer can't seem to solve my problems. My tail lights keep blowing out. The ABS and Brake light come on when the air conditioner doesn't work and it has been in the shop at least 4 times in the last month. We picked it up on Thursday and since I have extended warranty, paid $100 on an $1,100 bill and by Friday it had the same problems again. If anyone has experience the same problems and had them corrected, please let me know as soon as possible. I am so frustrated. |

Radio A/C Vibration in floor board Alot of other things...... I purchased a Trailblazer at the end of June 2003. This truck has been in the shop 3 times for certain things. I had a problem with the A/C in the middle of an 100 degree summer, and couldn't get it in the shop til enb of august, cause they were so booked up. I took the truck in the for 2 time on the 28 of August for a terrible vibration in the driver side floor board, well i sat in the dealership for 2 1/2 hours waiting to see what was wrong, they said nothing, which wasn't true. Because they asked me to schedule an appointment so they can look it over again. So I was taking it to them yesterday and come to find out now the SERVICE 4WD light is on. I have never in my life had so many problems with this truck. Oh one more thing, the Radio plays CD's when it wants, it won't suck them in on occasions!! My vechile before this was a 2002 Pontiac Grand Am GT and I should have kept it!! |

NICE LOOKS, NICE RIDE, GOOD POWER, GOOD STEREO SOUND. TIME SPENT IN THE SHOP KEEPS THE ODOMETER LOW.
Weakness:
TIRED OF BEING AT THE SHOP ALL THE TIME. TICKING NOISE IN THE ENGINE IS A BIG CONCERN. INTERIOR HAS TO MUCH PLASTIC, LOOKS A LITTLE CHEAP. THE TRAILBLAZER LOOKS AND HANDLES REALLY WELL. THERE IS PLENTY OF POWER AND IT RUNS SMOOTH. I'VE DRIVEN IT 4500 MILES AND ITS GOING INTO THE SHOP FOR THE FOURTH TIME. THE AC HAS GONE OUT, IT SEEMS TO BE OK WITH A NEW ELECTRICAL SWITCH THE DEALER INSTALLED. A PIECE OF TRIM ON THE TAIL GATE NEEDED TO BE FIXED. IT APPEARED THAT IT HAD BEEN INSTALLED WRONG. NOW THERE IS A TICKING NOISE NEAR THE ENGINE THAT WONT GO AWAY. THE DEALER SAID THE TICKING IS A SOLENIOD THAT IS MALFUNCTIONING. I DONT KNOW, IT SOUNDS TO ME LIKE A VALVE LIFTER IS STICKING. THIS WILL BE THERE SECOND ATTEMPT ON THIS PROBLEM. JUST YESTERDAY, AN ANNOYING SQUEAK HAS DEVELOPED IN THE REAR OF THE INTERIOR. THE TICKING CONCERNS ME GREATLY. IF ITS NOT FIXED THIS TIME, I'M GOING TO SELL IT AND START OVER. Similar Products Used: 91 GMC 1500 |

rides nice. The vehicle handles real well.
Weakness:
doors could possibly not open or bend when opening, I am experiencing trouble with my doors they seem to be on worng and the spacing is not the same. I have a crack on the roof, I have one door that is flaired out. I have the hood with different spacing on each side and this is also true in the hatch. The hatch also has air that comes around it which produces dust. There is a wind noise when driving and they said it is because the fenders are in to far. I don't know what to do and people in the Chevy industry are not to helpful all I hear is I can't get involved. |

Electrical problems are going to be GM's downfall. They are an epidemic in this model The ride is nice for a 4-wheel and comfortable.... That's where the fun ends. The AC takes about 5 minutes to cool down which is annoying but, the real problem is with the electrical system. We have only had ours in the shop 3 times and after reading some of the other reviews on this site I am feeling lucky. GM has produced a ripe and juicy lemon here. The lights continue to go out and the dealer can't fix it because the defective parts are being replaced with defective parts. My good friend and neighbor was trying to keep up with the Jones's and bought one too. They've been in twice so far to the shop. I also have a client that I met through my job and his has been in 6 times. His electrical problems have left him stranded twice. |

Failed electrical system on multiple things more than once, and that Cheverolet is not not attempting to stand behind their work or product. I see I am not the only one here. I too have had mine in the shop 6 or so times 4 of which was the same problem. On the first time just after purchasing the truck The firewall had been leaking so the floorboard stayed wet. I brought it in only to find out it was never sealed and had been leaking since the beginning, my taillights keep going out and they keep replacing the circuit board in them because it has shorted out (DUH??)this has happened 2 more times under warranty and once out of I complained because it was supposedly fixed and after heated disscussions GM descided to take care of it( the symptoms not the problem.Who knows if they will help us next time it goes out. Not to mention the instrament panel going out 2 times the doors automatically locking and unlocking, the weather stripping falling out,and no recalls sent to me for the airbag and the fuel pump fitting retainer. And the poor service from dealer. If you have had the problems with the lights I would like to hear from you I know there are more with this problem cause I see many Trailblazers on the road with out taillights. Just wanting to know what they were told and if they had thre unsealed firewall too. Similar Products Used: NONE |

cheap tires, leaking struts Overall, I am pleased with the truck. However, had to have both front struts replaced due to leaks at 18,000 miles. Tires will need to be replaced before 30,000 miles. rear door weatherstriping falls off. Otherwise, OK. Similar Products Used: ford Expedition |
