Ford Bronco (1996 and older) SUV | Crossover

DESCRIPTION

The Ford Bronco is a sport utility vehicle that was produced from 1966 to 1996, with five distinct generations. The original Bronco was an ORV (Off-Road Vehicle), intended to compete primarily with Jeep CJ models and the International Harvester Scout. The redesign of the second generation Bronco in 1978 was based on a shortened full sized F-100 pickup. It had a removable top and forward folding rear bench seat, similar to the competing Blazer.

(1980 - 1986) The Ford Bronco received a major redesign for 1980, coinciding with the F-Series pick-up truck. The new Bronco was shorter, and had cosmetic changes along with powertrain, suspension and other odds and ends.

(1992 - 1996) The Ford Bronco, along with the F-Series truck, was updated for 1992. The new Bronco was redesigned with safety in mind, incorporating front crumple zones, rear shoulder seat belts, a third brakelight embedded in the removable top, and after 1994, driver-side airbags.

Strength:

Great in the snow, sound, sturdy and good lookin' too !

Weakness:

None, Why mess with perfection?

Definitely a FIVE STAR rating ! I bought my Bronco new off the showroom
floor and have accessorized it ever since. " Buster " is the best investment I have ever made ! It has been a VERY GOOD vehicle to me. Reliable, great looking, great to jazz up and my favorite toy. I would drive a ford Bronco first before a Chevy " Rock " ( you know, you have to
throw a rock to make it move ! ) or any other SUV. You can keep that foreign "slop " , I'll take my all American made Detroit steel truck any
day.

Strength:

Quick, dependable, lasting, smooth ride, tough whats not to love about it

Weakness:

There are none its a great truck

I've got this 1992 Bronco XLT from my mom and i love it to death. It has the big 5.0 liter V8 automatic. It get me were i got to go and it is very dependable. The one feature of the Bronco is that that back window goes down so that I dont have to drop the tailgate. And the better part that the back cab slides right off making it look cool.

152,000 miles and still going strong. All bugs finally worked out for 1996 model year, just in time to discontinue the Bronco.

Weakness:

Ford stopped making them. Will have to keep this one for ever.

Excelent vehicle. Fourth EB Bronco I've owned with nearly 1/2 million miles since 1988 on EB Broncos. Heavy use off road and trailer towing as well.

Too many to list...you can't go wrong with this truck. It has been rated one of the top 10 4x4s by Petersens in two different articles I have seen. Truly an awesome machine. Something about pulling a Chevy out of the mud with a Ford like this that is just too hard to explain!!!

Weakness:

Only real weakness I have found are the front axle shafts on the Dana 44

AWESOME. My first was the 79, paid $1000 and abused the HELL out of it, but it never quit. Paid $2500 for the 78, much nicer condition and paid $500 for the other 78 which I am using as a parts vehicle.

POWER Made in the UNITED STATES OF AMERICA,dependibility, strong running gear and did I mention POWER?

Weakness:

Like I stated in the review the driver is the only weak link

ON THE SEVENTH DAY, GOD CREATED HORSEPOWER AND PUT IT UNDER THE HOOD OF MY BRONC. Lets set the record straight my BRONCO, is a TRUCK. I will only menton that horible marketing phrase SUV once in this review, again my BRONCO is a TRUCK. Enough said.
Where do I start from the sexy body lines, the raw power and tourqe, the ample interior room? The list is too long. My BRONCO has the blue oval 351, Heavy duty tow pacake, 33" all terains, K&N air charger,Cat back exuaust, custom shorty Headers And so much ATTITUDE it should be elegal.
Off road this truck has only one limitation, the pilot. Other than that this bad pony will take all that mother nature can dish out.On the fly from 2 wheele to 4 high is a snap, push the button and lets rock. Towing is a dream the tourqe the power plant prduces is more than ampel, too pull a 5 horse trailer up any grade. Off road this rig is a real head turner .From the throaty intake too the mellow tone of the exaust, Heads turn. Off the line people are amazed at the throtle responce. And nott to mention this rig eats up speed bumps
Ford made these testomys too AMERICAN POWER from 1978-1996 (frist series nott included) so their are pleny of them out there. I strongly advise you to get one, hell why nott two? But if you can't drive that little rice box with 4x4 writen in no less than 87 places on you'r $40,000.
pice of fassion statement, STAY AWAY FROM THIS TRUCK.
