Unique Design. Gas economic, Big, Good Handling and decent power. Big hood space to work on the motor and is fun to drive. Dodge Rams are practically trouble free.

Very low, low end torque. only 175 HP.

Very Good Work Truck. Better looks than any other. 3.9L V-6 is pretty gas economic compared to their V-8''''s and the other 6 cylinders. Very good handling and a speedometer that marks more than a hundred. Vey good truck recomended for work purposes or just to go around in. If used for racing its not recommended. It''''s fast but not as much as the other V-6 trucks. Payload capacity is great and so is towing. Currently own a Green single cab V-6 Automatic. Very trouble free trucks.

Low HP for the 318, leather wrapped steering wheel is peeling and disolving after only 8 months, center console lid keeps cracking due to heavy duty springs popping through the plastic lid.

This is a very stylish truck that presents a true "truck" appearance. The interior is very roomy and quite sufficient for our family of five. The vinyl floor is a great option that allows easy cleaning after being in sand and mud. The 5.2L engine is a little weak for such a big truck, the engineers can get a lot more horsepower from this motor which would be appreciated by all owners. I have about 9000 miles on it and the front tires are wearing badly on the outside even though the alignment seems fine. The automatic transmission has trouble deciding which gear it wants to be in when climbing grades and accelerating. A manual transmission option would be great. Still haven''t figured out the logic of 17" rims and a 16" spare on a vihicle that has a "anti-spin" differential, this could cause problems. Gas mileage sucks, but mopar has always been that way-and after all, it is a 4X4. Overall, a very solid truck that I would recommend to anyone who wants a true "truck" and not a big "suv".

HAVING TO REPLACE THE TRAC BAR TOMORROW, THE TRUCK ONLY HAS 26,000 MILES ON IT AND HAS NEVER BEEN OFF THE HIGHWAY. I AM TOLD BY OTHER DODGE OWNERS THIS IS A COMMON PROBLEM AND THE REPLACEMENT WILL BE SHOT IN AS MANY MORE MILES.

Custom ordered this truck from factory with every concievable option. It looks great, has awsome front cabin room but the tranny sucks and 5.2l is a dog. How does it ride? Hell its a giant truck, they all ride like hippos in heat.

Purchased truck in fall of 1995. Had it back to the dealer for a lot of little things like leaking rear sliding window, front spring bushing put in wrong at factory, and a premium sound radio that would not hold presets. Since initial dealer visits the truck has been nothing but a joy to drive. I''ve put it through extremes like towing, putting 3 ton of stone in the bed, and some off - road travel, but it keeps on going. With 74,000 miles I have yet to replace the brakes. The 5.9 V8 has great power and no "ping".
