I had this fitted by SQPlus who are the top installers in the UK. The sound quality was clear and there was no distortion due to an excellent install by SQplus and high quality components used.

The sub stopped working after 2 days and that was with the gains turned down.

The sub sounded OK whilst it worked but it is crap as it stopped working. To make things worse I rang the US Infinity (800) 553 3332 number, which is not actually Infinity and they were not even able to give me a contact number for the Head Office. Apparently they are a marketing line with no idea of the contact details. Having made three telephone calls lasting a total of 12 minutes and having being discounted after they put me on hold whilst searching in a telephone book for the HEAD OFFICE PHONE NUMBER, I gave up.

JL Audio 12W6 are the best. If you've never heard a 12W6 you have no idea about deep clear bass. Personally I'm gonna throw my Infinity away and get something more reliable.

Asome SQ Asmon spl to a point my 2 kappa perficts his harder than 3 mmats pro 12's people say audiblly i agree but by spl i would slightly disagree but then again i dont ride in my back seat too much so i cant really feel th full effect. the sub had a 260 Oz Magnet and a alumin cone it responds quick and hard in my opion is is a good woofer

i was slightly dissapointed not really in its peformance but in how m expirence lines up to some of these peoples expirence saying theior blowing bindows and shcking opther car's mirrors but i still think thy knowk hard i hit about 130db (guesstmate) i did blow one and damge the other recently but i think that was due to not breaking them in and a bit of clipping also i let circuti s**Ty do my wireing beacouse i didnt have a power drill ank they had them out of phase for ythe first 3-4 min i also think this contrubited to their premature blowing

OVER ALL I LIKE THE KAPPA PERFICTS I PLAN ON USING THEM ON MY NEW CAR UNLESS INFINITY DVC BETA 12'S ARE OUT AND GOOD THEY HIT LIKE 130 DB WITH 2 IN A 1.25 CUFT ENCLUSRE (PREFAB) (OBCON ENCLSURES) AS FAR AS SPL AND Sq NOTHING COMPARES BUT HEARD BETTER SPL

Durable construction and high quality parts create one hard hitting sub. Besides that, it's not so bad to look at, this sub is one that you will want to show off.

requires large volume for a bandpass enclosure and like any sub, requires specific installation.

The Perfect lives up to it's name. It will perform like most high quality subs if you DON'T install it just right. But if you spend the time to install it properly and power it with the right amp (I used the Infinity Digital Beta 100) this thing is will produce the cleanest, lowest bass. I would go so far as to say that one of these subs could do the job of 2 of the competitors' subs.

don't make 15's, can't handle my amp

I have two of these hooked up to a MMATS D200HC each in a 1.75qf chamber and they slam. Loud, accurate, tight, deep bass. Each sub is gettin about 600 watts rms and that's probably as much as they'll take. I have to keep the gain set below half on my amp or the voice coils will start smelling. Other than that, I love them. They pound, and rattle my car to @#$$%!. Causes my vision to blur at high volumes. Nice back massage on bass tracks. Can't wait to get a third one and hook it up to the same amp. 400 MMATS watts to each Perfect should be interesting! Overall an excellent sub for the money. If I were to upgrade I'd probably go with MASS, Eclipse or Crystal CMP's. But for now I'm satisfied with my Perfect and will probably hang on to them for another year or so.

Beat for 2 seconds

all specs are lies. They blew about 3 minutes after installation. I would not recommend anyone to buy this speaker.

I lost out on 500.00 dollars. I wish I had the same experience as the rest of you all. Please save your money and buy JLAudio.

it sounds so good. looks good. delievers exactly what the name says "perfection" this trick hits so smooth i have been spoiled, i don't think i will find something else that can live up to this bad boy

it blows easy if you don't break them in properly. the aluminium cone is very sensitive. You must find out what to do properly to make them work correct

i just got my new system and i had the system for 2 days and the woofer blew on the left side. i got another and blew it again on the left side. i think that i should break in the woofer more before turning it up to high volumes. i am running 2 infinity 202a amps. each woofer is getting 600 watts. i have blown the one on the left now 2 times, i am waiting for the next one to come in. if i blow this one i will ask for some kove armegedons.

This is the Muhammad Ali of ALL subs...simply unbeatable. The low frequency response makes the sub hit hard and only when you want it. I use it for all-around music and it just sounds amazing. Powered by my Autotek 5 channel amp thru the 5th channel, its more than enough for it and it could take way way more.

Get it! Don't waste your time with what your friends say is good and what looks cool at Best Buy, go to Ebay and get an Infinity Kappa Perfect. Sounds AMAKZING. I am just going to shut up before I keep mumbling about how amazing this sub it. Oh, I never got to the part about its looks....KILLER looks.

Polk DX....thought it was nice until I heard the Infinty. Same goes for JL, Orion..etc. Rockford Fostgate...don't want your time..overrated crap. The only manufacturer that can come close is Cerwin Vega.

They hit low and hard!!!

Under-rated

THey hit hard and low and they don't stop. Have a power acoustic 2200 amp running to 2 12". The amp pushes 850*2rms and these speakers have no problem handling it. It is the hardest hitting sub for its price.

Wow. First i will say that... These subs are extreamly tight and go low... They hit hard, go low and stay tight. I was amazed that they can play loud and still stay tight. For my amp i am using an Alpine 1507. I have the subs running at 2ohms and have the amp brided also. They are loud enough for me as of now. I will be getting another 1507 shortly and also two more 12.1 .... I hope my car doesnt fall apart.

I cannot brag about them more. I will leave and say you will have to try them yourselves. They are great subs. I cannot wait till may when i purchance two more of theses subs along with another amp.
