Strength:

small box, loves power and sensitivity is 96db. Not THE loudest speaker, which is why i have 4, but the sq can't be beat.

Weakness:

hard to hear distortion from these speakers, which is why people screw em up caps and batteries are expensive

People seem to have problems with this speaker, popping the glue - I did it once too, and infinity replaced both of them. Now I'm pushing 4 twelves with 2 jbl 1200.1's. Trust me it's beautiful, now i'm just waiting for some perfect components

looks. features sq

Weakness:

wimpy as hell, poorly construted, infinity wont fix the problem????

I bouhgt a single 12.1 hooked it up to a rockford 360a2(580 watts), had the gains set to push 400 watts to it. It sounded decent but it has to be pushed extremely hard to get it loud, then the glue busts on the spider. highly overrated. I have a 10' w3 that sound exactly the same expcept its indestructible. im selling the w3 to get 2 10" eclipse aluminums, whcih will destroy a perfect anyday.

Strength:

how low they hit

Weakness:

old one have plastic around the top rim where you screw them in place and the screws break it, new and old, the damn glue that hold the voice coil to spider is weak, thats the noise the one guy is hearing a high volume. its like a metal/metal ticking noise but it's really voice coil/glue hitting the spider every time it goes up and down

damn good subs for price.oh do they get low. run them at 4ohm, 350 watt s all you need to them.i have beta digital 1000w amp with 300wx2 @ 4ohm with a electric crossover w/sub control and a cap.it sounds better that way then 500wx2 @ 2ohm

Strength:

Great SQ and SPL balance. Reliable (sorry all of you who had problems, hee..hee..) Look great.

Weakness:

What???

First of all, to all people who blew these subs. Get a real amp or adjust your gain, morons! It is distortions that kills subs. They will handle more than rated for! I hooked up my Infinity Beta Digital 300 amp (rated 1000RMS) no problem!

Strength:

Tiny box, very sensitive, hits down to 18 hz, and customer support - Infinity is a trustworthy name.

Weakness:

Can blow quickly if you're not careful. Don't crank them up right away

These speakers are the $hit! But, sadly I just blew one and will have to wait a week or two before I can shove anymore. If you want these speakers (and trust me, u do) get a cap, improves the sound ten-fold.

Strength:

Clean tight bass, not very expensive if you get them on ebay, good mix between spl and sq. Good customer support if you can get ahold of a rep (it takes about 20 minutes usually)

Weakness:

blow fairly easily

I had 2 these subs for about 3 weeks powered by an MA audio sy5011dx class x amp and they sounded pretty nice but werent to there full potential since that amp isnt very good (over rated - only about 600 rms at 2 ohms i would guess). They sounded nice but i wanted more power from them. So i got an mtx 81000d and they hit really hard and sounded a lot better than with the MA audio. Unfortunately a few days later i noticed them popping pretty bad at high levels. If anyone else has had this problem let me know. I was going to send them back to the seller but i contacted infinity and finally got ahold of a customer rep. He told me since the guy i bought them wasnt authorized he might have been selling the ones which were made a year or so ago, and he said most of those ones were defective and would have that problem. He was really cool though and had me cut out the cone and spider and everything and send it to him at infinity where he would send me whole new speakers. (so i only had to pay like 6 bucks for shipping instead of 40) i still havent gottent the new ones but now i'm presented with a big problem, what to power the subs with, cus i dont want to blow them again. If anyone has any recommnedations let me know. The only other thing i can think of is getting 3 of them but then i have a lower impendance which my amp doesnt recommend. So i could get a dvc and wire that at 8 ohms in parellel with the others. But i heard somewhere you shouldnt wire different impendance speakers in parallel. Oh well this should be fun!

Loud, Clean, Accurate Bass. Worth the $, Go buy 1 or 2 NOW

Weakness:

None really, they have a little trouble with higher bass, but you can't really notice it too much, their "PerFecT".

I Just Bought these 2 Beautys a couplpe of weeks ago and now im waiting for my rockford power 750X amp to come in the mail, so right now i have my little jensen amp to them in a sealed, 1.09ft3 enclosure. I have 50 watts going to each of them and i tell you these subs are efficent as hell, cause at 50 watts they are loud as hell. My roof of my 88' cherokee moves up and down, these things are mean. They sound nice and crisp, clean accurate bass. Can't wait until i get my big amp, its gunna hurt! damn

Strength:

Smooth accurate bass, built for quality.

Weakness:

Break in time, approxiamately 20-30 hours normal volume. I hooked it up to my home stereo and just turned the radio on and left it on for a full day.

The Perfect. Ive owned this sub for a full 3 days, and I am already in love w it. Crystal clear and smooth bass. No boominess, just tight accurate response. Hits low low looowww. Hits hard and hits loud. Im sendin 600 watts RMS to this thing and it sings. 1 cubic foot sealed box, in the trunk of my P.O.S. '72 Ford LTD. God I love it. Its hilarious, everyone always makes fun of my car, me with all of them. But when I turn on the system, everyone shuts up in a hurry. Crankin the Perfect, feels like my trunk is gonna shake off. This thing doesnt make sound, it makes music.
