Strength:

Of course the looks..And the ability to bridge the gap of SPL and SQ!!!

Weakness:

None found yet...and hope to not find any

First off..I highly recomend Electronic Giant...they mostly run off ebay. All there stuff has factory warranty and they have VERY VERY fast shipping!! Amazing company! This is the web page i got them off...its just a listing of all the austions they have runnin! If you are lookin to buy any car audio..look to them first!! http://shop.auctionwatch.com/electronicgiant/store.html Wow!!...after weeks of just reading reviews i finally got to hear them for myself. I recectly purchased (2) 12" Infinity Perfects and i am VERY pleased. I built a box for them with 1" particle board and 1.24sqft^3 per sub. I am pushing it with a PPI 500 watt@2ohm amp. So i am sending around 500 watts to each at 2 ohm. These subs are absolutely amazing, I've had a great deal of systems in my car including JL and Kicker, but nothin compares to these. I would suggest even (1) 12 to anybody. But make sure you have around 500 watts to throw at em or dont even worry about gettin em. I had (2)12" Jl W3's runnin off the same amp im using now and they cant even touch the Perfects!

Strength:

sound quality. sensativity (ability to play louder with less wattage than most subs). clean tight deep bass. LOOKS. i love how they look, not over done like most subs that are just out there for looks. VALUE- you can get these subs really cheap on ebay.

Weakness:

only thing i could EVER think of is the aluminum cone (its great) but its easily dentable. my mom put a sewing machine in my car's trunk without me knowing it... and the way i drive it definitely is going to be moving around. the right one got a little dent in it :( so make sure you keep stuff away from the perfects or put grills on them. (i wouldn't put grills on mine because they look so awesome)

purchased (2) for $308 on ebay with ikesound! these, being my first pair of subs, has made me want to stick with infinity for everything i buy. unfortuneately their component speaker systems are REALLY expensive, the sub woofers are amazing. i have to get rid of them though because i need the money :( the setup was a rockford fosgate power 800a2 powering the 2 infinity kappa perfect 12"s with a lightning audio capacitor. i couldn't belive how much better these sound compaired to so many of my friends. my brother, had some crappy pioneers, they were nice sounding, but the sound was very muddy. these infinitys pound amazingly harder and have TIGHT CLEAN BASS. my friends with 4 10s or 4 12s can't even come close with their little JL's and rockfords... blah. the only thing i like from rockford is the amps they make. anyway, these subs are SO worth the price.

Strength:

Very clean bass and looks great.

Weakness:

THE SURROUND COMES OFF!!! Just be very carful with the surround, for some reason they come off.

I love these subs. I have the JL Audio 500/1 powering them and they produce so much pressure that my ceiling warps outward. I've tried both 1.25 and 1 cubic feet boxes and I recomend the 1, it sounds so much cleaner and still hits hard. I just sold them to my cousin and they are being replaced with a single 10w7. The 10w7 hits a little harder but the main reason for switching is the little room a single 10 takes up.

Similar Products Used:

almost every JL, Alpine Type R, and Kicker.....so far the 10w7 is the best but the Perfect is a great second place winner.

Strength:

Best sound quality Subs i ever heard, And it can still pound hard.

Weakness:

none, that i can find.

The best sub for its price, these things pound and sound wicked even with low power. Of course it sounds a lot better if you give it more. I've heard many systems with stuff like rockford, phoenix gold but nothing sounds like this.

Dintable Cone, A little problem of over-excursion @~40 hz

I have owned a single 12.1 for about 9 months. I''m powering it bridged off of a RF 360.2 Amp, and it handels the 400+ watts well. It hits loud and incredably deep. I enjoy pissing off my friend who owns a pair of crappy JL''s by playing in the sub 30hz range where he can''t touch. I love the cone, except for the little dints my friend made with his nuckel.(Yes, It hit''s that hard)I bought a pair of Kenwood 12" over Christmass, and after about a week and a half went back to the Infinity. I''m planning on getting two Alpine Type-R 10s, and moving the Perfect for home audio duty.(Crap blowing up sounds good on a Perfect!)Oh yeah, warm them up so you don''t melt the coils.

Everything

Weakness:

Break in time (proper break in time for any sub is 20 hours at a moderate volume).

I have one of these in the recommened ported box with 450-475 watts rms going into it from a fosgate power 800.4, which by the way is 150 less than the spec sheet says to give it in this enclosure (sealed 500 rms, ported 650 rms, ack bandpass 350 rms). The only downside is they have to be broken in for about 30 hours and if you try to put full power to it in the first ten minutes it will melt. All I have to say is it is very loud deep and crystal clear.. PERFECT. I have had mine for a little over a year now and it performs like it is brand new.

A rockford 12 4 ohm punch in a bandpass box... um was sorta loud but had no sound quality at all. I''m not putting rockford down I was powering it off the same amp and the box blew up... the sub is si

overall, great sub for the $ and sq is still amazing in a ported box

Weakness:

none

i have 3 of these subs in a custom spl box with an audiobahn 2000 watt rms amp in my 98 escort zx2 and this system is the loudest system i have ever heard with the sound quality as good as it is. i am hitting about 150 dB and this sub puts out very deep, low bass. in my opinion, this sub is designed to be mainly a sq woofer but is also very loud at the same time i would buy this sub if u have the $
