These subs can stay linear for a lot longer of a time that any thing else I've heard. I wrote a review on the alum10's earlier, I've since blew 2 of them(my fault). I listen to cd's with "speaker damage" warning lables on them as loud as I can. Where the alum subs fail, the pro flats prevail.

Not as clean as the alum10's-12's. But they do play louder and lower for a longer time. Voice coil heats up real fast. You have to massage these subs to play loud the first time. DON'T CRANK IT AS SOON AS YOU TURN ON YOU CAR.
I accidentally had the vol. turned all the way up the first time I tested these subs, and when i turned on my car one ofthe subs popped out of its structure, tore the surround and wedged its vc outside of its valley. Be gental!! I got it replaced, and have since had no problems. Though I am not sure if I want to use these for comp, or stay with the alum's

Paid 250 ea, I think it was worth it but Im not positive, at least until I can compare the alum's and the pro's side by side. But i think they're somewhat better than Precision flat piston's.

Driver? I drive my car.... oh you wanted me to review the SPEAKER! oh! ok, well I don't use a speaker. i drive around beating on a 4x8 foot piece of plywood for bass.

it get's a little tiring, but people seem to enjoy my system, they are always laughing and smiling as I drive by.

I have blown out every window in my car thee hundred times with my kickass system, i set of 5,582 car alarms to date and I have won the world SPL competition for the past 200 years. My system kick ROCKS it hits HARD it PUNCHES. It is the best system in the world. It beats the pants off of RF, Pioneer, JL, JBL, CV, Ground Zero, pyramid and every other system or audio product ever made. The sound quality is soo reallistic that i played some elvis and people were running toward my car because they thought the king was back.....
The point is that most of the systems out there sound really good, and it doesn't matter what sysem you have, as long as you enjoy it, there is no best speaker or amp and brand names matter least of all. just buy a system that suits you and your budget and dont worry about how much better or worse it sounds thaan your cousins girlfreinds brothers friends. it's all subjective anyway. I dunno.

2 aw1200 in a 1.1^3ft/chamber, sealed..off a ppi sedona 500iqx about 400x2@ 2 ohm stereo..they can use more power though..it shake the hell of ouf my integra..and i love it..got it for under $200/pair shipped..

I highly recommend all their product since I compete with them and win. Audio Bahn is the only company that I know of that has a 1-800 line to get in touch with them,(1-800-488-8595). They even have a tech that can assit you with install info and spec's to get the perfect sound. Audio Bahn also has TEAM AUDIO BAHN, if you a member you get Audio Bahn T-Shirts, Caps, and a lot of assitance with shipping and product info. This company will bend over backwards for team members who are competing. And their line of high current amp are the BOMB!
Currently I have their 6.5 subs in the front doors along with their tweeter's, I put the 6.5 speakers that came with the sperates in the rear deck for fill in, and I have 3 AW 1200 Aluims Subs in the trunk. 2 Audio bahn caps help with the power to the amps. Driving the subs is the MONO 1300 HC which is rated at 300 watts at 4 ohms, but puts out 1300 watts at 1 ohm. The sound comes from a 4ch 435 HC which when brigded will put out 700 watts. Let me just say that the Judges realy like listening to my car.

Sound like CRAP! Of all the subs I have heard these have some of the worst SQ out there. They are in the properly built box. I am a pro-sound tech - i know what sounds good...and these do not!

I have 4 alum10's powered by 2 18001D amps in the back of my hatch. I have entered the car in 5 local spl competitions and won every single one. These subs hit 158.7db with a little over 750w rms to ea. That's absolutely amazing!!!!!!!!! Ive delt with other to brand companys before and never got that close to the envelope. I would recommend these subs to anyone wanting to win a spl competition, and willing to go deaf in the process.

Im using 4 aw1200s in my hatchback now and i designed the box to the exact specifications. they are all powered by 2 2150hc. These subs are really impressive, much better than JL audio, the awc which is almost audiobahns bottom line is equilevent to the jl w3. I really suggest to get audiobahns 2000 line, i also sell it (e-mail for prices). if you want that spl/sq sound aw1200 is to go but does have a lil more spl but if you want more sq do the alum12 or just all out spl do the aw1205s.

Only Weakness i can think of is the writing on the 99 models

Cant say what i paid online, pretty cheap though
