Strength:

-Startup grunt/Overall sound & tone -Improved mid-high RPM acceleration -Slight MPG increase

Weakness:

-LOUD! -Sets off alarms (might be good, depending) -Head turner (Wait...thats a strength!)

Went from the restrictive stock exhaust system to a bigger I-pipe ( 1/2 bigger ) and the dual-out Flowmaster 80 series muffler. From the first startup, I knew the money was well spent. The sound down low and idle is very good for a V6. Power gains are noticeable above 2500 RPMs and the car pulls MUCH harder. Won't make your V6 sound like an 8, but nothing will. It does give you a very deep and agressive tone, though.

deep throaty sound @ 1800-2000rpm its the best

Weakness:

none yet except its not as rumbly at high rpms

i just got the 80 series on today and have already noticed some HP increase (maybe its just the noise playing tricks on me) the interior noise levels are not bad at all but when i roll my windows down all hell is breaking loose. the sound from this muffler is so nice. ive set off 2 alarms already in my neighborhood.

Strength:

Recommended for my car, torque increase, and better mileage.

Weakness:

Not as good high end sound as I hoped but the idle to low rpms is the great Flowmaster sound I payed for.

I got my 80 series for my Camaro and I like it a lot. I hated the stock exhaust and wanted to go to a flowmaster. When I went to the shop I told the guy it was a camaro and he suggested this exhaust kit. Now I have it and enjoy my Flowmaster rumble!!

Strength:

At idele it has a little more sound to it then stock. But give it just a little gas and it sound's awsome.Better then expected , a real turn header, attention graber, and the missing piece to my awsome LS1.Really nice sound at normal driving ,and a rough sound when hevaly pressed. But again the sound this muffler make's is awsome. You will turn the radio off and listen to this muffler sing all day and all night.

Weakness:

Not as loud.Could us some more sound at idle.First day installed today (11-15-02) and have noticed some difference's right away.A higher temperture reading and a lower reading for the oil pressure gauge which was not a problum with my stock muffler. Also have noticed less light in the instrument gauges not much to make a big differnce though. This is why i have chosen to rate it less then i would have liked to.I don't seem to notice a power change. The gas pedal feels a bit heaver. But again the sound is awsome and the sound from this Flowmaster alone can make you think you have gained 20 horespower.

I went to my local shop's and every shop recommended the Flowmaster. SO i went ahead with the Flowmaster Muffler 80 series.

Similar Products Used:

Stock, had no problum.Tempeture stayed at 180 or less - Flowmaster at 210. Oil Pressuer stayed at half reading 40 - Flowmaster 20. But maybe the computer is adjusting to the new flow because from time

Very aggressive, a little faster above 3200 rpms, better gas mileage. Gets heads turing in parking lots. gotta love it

Weakness:

My friends say at high rpms it sounds ricy, i dont think it does at all. Best sound i heard on a V6

Let me tell all you V6 Camaro drivers out there that this product kicks some ass. I had mine installed not to long ago. It def makes my car sound like a good sized 8 at around 2200 rpms. The only thing i dont like is you can tell it comes from the rear of the car not the engine, but none the less very awsome for you money. If you have a 6 banger and everyone makes fun of you because of it, Get this flowmaster, itll shut em up and give you the sound you always wanted with a Z. BY THIS

I had this muffler installed on my ''00 GAGT and I have loved every bit of it. It changes the V6 sound into a low V8-like rumble. The best sound comes around 2000 rmp''s. I also noticed an increase in power at wide open throttle.
