Great at being rude, and very unprofessional,They are trained crooks!!

Not able to listen, read, understand,....... probably little education, worthless adjusters and or claims people.

I wrote a review some months ago, when my adjuster was someone not able to speak english was being unhelpful, now 5 months later after some bonehead smashed into my van, while I was stopped at a red light, a stupid and yes she is because she is unable to even read or understand how to comprehend a report, woman named McLaughlin is the winner this looser company has graced me with. i have had to fight tooth and nail for even a follow up for out of pocket expences and she is saying now that my injuries are not from the crash, anyway I could go on and on, but that won't do any good, what will is filing suit, which my lawyer and I are doing, and reporting this crock of a scheming company. Shame on the investors and management of this particular company, Every one stay away and if you have a complaint and trust me if you ared dealing with theses idiots you will, repot them to the Better Bussiness Burea. Coast National Insurance (Bristol) is the worst insurance company out there!!! Once you get into a accident, you'll know why everyone is saying bad things about them. It was the terrible experience!!! Claim adjusters never answer the phone. They filed the wrong person on the accident. So many errors on paper work. VERY VERY UNPROFESSIONAL. If you are shopping for insurance never get coast national insurance. If you alreay have Coast Insurance, you must switch to different company before you get into accident. Once you get into accident, they will screw everything. It will be big nitemare!!!

Poor customer service, rude employees, high employee turnover which promotes lack of continuity & lack of knowledge handling customer claims, slow to pay out/approve claims, unreasonable low-ball estimates when their insured is at fault and thus requiring them to pay

Worst automobile insurance company I have ever dealt with. Was an unfortunate victim of being hit by one of their insured. Had three different claims adjustors on my case because the first two quit during a 4 month period. The last one "lost my file" and claimed she never received any of my telephone messages. Sent me out to one of their approved body shops to get an estimate and their adjustor never showed up. They finally approved the repair but the body shop needed a re-estimate because of underlying damage that wasn't initially seen and only discovered after the car was dismantled. Coast National refuses to pay for the rental while my car is in the shop while they delay sending one of their adjustors for a re-inspection because the car is "driveable"--apparently you don't need headlamps, bumpers, fenders, hood, grill etc. My BMW dealer, auto body shop and representative from the California Board of Insurance all agreed that this company frequently acts in bad faith, low balls repair estimates and is known to cause inordinate delays. Unfortunately, my attorney believes that I will have to litigate due to their continued bad faith.

I have yet to have a claim with Bristol west insurance but I find their customer service department to be extremly curteous and helpful. When I call to inquire about my policy, I am treated very professionally and the representatives are always knowledgeable and efficient..

Coast National Insurance / Broker Bristol West has been nothing but a headache... My car was totaled not by any means my fault. It has been over a month I still don't have a car, a check or an answer to any of my questions. They have yet to call me back once, I'm one step away from harassing them just to get a straight answer. I've been with them for three years, never missed a payment and this is not the first time I have had troubl with them. I am finally fed up. I have to sue the person who hit me in small claims just to get the money I spent on a rental car. I have never been so frustrated in my life.

MY ROOMATE HAD AN ACCIDENT WITH MY SECOND CARD AND IT WAS TOTALLED BRISTOL WEST IN ALL FAIRNESS HONORED MY CLAIM AND CUT ME A CHECK FOR THE BLUE BOOK VALUE LESS MY DEDUCTIBLE. I THINK IT IS JUST AS IMPORTANT TO LET EVERYONE KNOW WHEN AN INSURANCE COMPANY DOES SOMETHING RIGHT, NOT JUST WHEN THERE IS A COMPLAINT.

Coast National represented by Bristol Insurance sucks! They don't honor claims. I have been awaiting payment for a claim for over two months now. Their insured ran into the rear of my auto while I was stopped in a line of autos.

good at b.s.'ing all day long. great at paying claims late and great at never once sending out an inspector to look at your vehicle after an accident.

Coast National Insurance dba as Bristol West. No computer access on none of their bills do they put a phone #. I got a notice of cancellation on 5/14/03 for claims they were not paid. I am getting proof of payment from the Travelers co, Tried calling them in Florida since it is 10 AM there and received the same voice mail they are closed. This Co. provides no service whatsoever.
